Cleaning staff will thoroughly clean the entire unit. This includes dusting surfaces, vacuuming or sweeping floors, wiping down worktops and furniture, and cleaning mirrors and windows. The aim is to remove dust, dirt and any visible debris.

Bathroom Cleaning

The bathrooms receive special attention during the turnover cleaning. The cleaning staff will clean and disinfect all bathroom fixtures such as the toilet, sink, shower and bath. They will also clean the bathroom floor and ensure it is dry and free of any residue.

Kitchen Cleaning

If the rental unit has a kitchen or kitchenette, it will undergo a detailed cleaning process. This includes cleaning the worktops, sink, cooker, microwave, fridge (if applicable) and other kitchen appliances. All used utensils and crockery will be washed, dried and put away.

Bedding and Linen Change

Bed linen, including sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers, will be removed and replaced with fresh, clean linen. Mattress and pillow protectors are checked and replaced if necessary. Used linen is collected and sent for laundering.

Towel Replenishment

Used towels are collected, and fresh, clean towels are provided for the next guests. This ensures that guests have a sufficient supply of towels for their stay. Towels may be neatly folded or arranged in a presentable manner.

Rubbish Removal

All rubbish and waste left by previous guests must be removed from the unit. Bin liners will be emptied and new bin liners placed in the bins.

Restocking Supplies

Housekeeping staff will check and replenish essential supplies such as toiletries, toilet paper, tissues and soap to ensure guests have adequate supplies during their stay.

Inspection and Quality Control

Once the cleaning has been completed, a supervisor or member of staff will inspect the unit to ensure that it meets the property’s standards of cleanliness and presentation. Any areas that require additional attention or touch-ups will be addressed immediately.
